Sermon
What does it really mean to live for the Gospel? For Paul, writing from a Roman prison, it meant life-or-death commitment to Christ. For us, it means living faithfully in every season—whether in joy, hardship, service, or suffering.
In this message from Philippians 1:19–30, we see Paul’s unshakable conviction: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Living for Christ isn’t about ease, comfort, or circumstances—it’s about faithfully loving God and following His plan.
📖 From this passage, we learn three truths about living for the Gospel:
Christ-Centered Purpose – Jesus is the goal of life and the reward in death.
Christlike Partnership – Stand firm in unity, striving side by side for the faith of the Gospel.
Christ-Honoring Perseverance – Suffering for Christ is not a curse, but a gift of grace that shapes us into His likeness.
Paul reminds us that Gospel living isn’t just about preaching overseas or serving in the church—it’s about magnifying Christ in your body, whether by life or by death.
