From Around the Lake
FBC families drive in from every corner of the Lake. Here's a quick guide for visitors from each major Lake-area town.
First Baptist Church of Camdenton sits in the geographic center of the Lake of the Ozarks region. Our building hasn't moved — it's been at 186 S. Business Rt. 5 since 1908 — but the families who come on Sunday drive in from every direction. Below is a quick orientation for visitors from each of the larger Lake-area towns, with drive time and a link to the page for that community.
19 miles east on U.S. 54
About 26 minutes from Bagnell Dam Boulevard. The closest non-Camdenton population center to our building.
14 miles east on U.S. 54
About 19 minutes from the Outlets corridor. The biggest commercial center on the Lake; lots of folks drive west to Camdenton for church.
30 miles north on U.S. 54
About 35 minutes south on U.S. 54. The northern gateway to the Lake region.
15 miles west on U.S. 54
About 22 minutes from the U.S. 54 / MO 73 corridor. Small town to small town.
More community-specific pages will go up as we have time to write them honestly. If you're driving in from Lebanon, Roach, Linn Creek, Sunrise Beach, or Laurie, the regional overview at FBC for the Lake of the Ozarks has the practical info you need today.
