Sermon

What governs your life? Your feelings? Your preferences? Your fears? Or Christ?
In Acts 1:15–26, the early church faced uncertainty after the betrayal and death of Judas Iscariot. Jesus had ascended into heaven, the mission stood before them, and the disciples were waiting for the promised Holy Spirit. In that moment, the church did not rely on worldly wisdom, personalities, or emotions. Instead, they submitted themselves to the authority of Scripture, sought the will of Christ through prayer, and trusted the sovereign rule of God.
In this sermon, we explore how Christ governs His church through His Word and why believers today are called to joyfully submit to His authority in every area of life.
