Senior Pastor & Elder
Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Camdenton since 2016.
Cody Harlow is the Senior Pastor and an Elder at First Baptist Church of Camdenton. He arrived at FBC in 2016 with his wife Amber and has served the congregation in Camdenton ever since. His role is to cast vision, preach God's Word verse by verse, and shepherd the church family.
Pastor Cody preaches most Sunday mornings during the 10:30 AM worship service. His teaching focuses on opening the text of Scripture clearly so the congregation can see what God has said and respond to it. He keeps the church focused on the two great commandments: loving God with all that we are, and loving our neighbors.
Beyond Sunday morning, Cody invests in the church's community groups, and walks alongside members in different seasons of life.
Cody and Amber have five children: Malachi, Lillian, Josiah, Abigail, and David. The Harlow family homeschools and spends a lot of time together exploring the Lake of the Ozarks area, serving in the church side by side, and gathering around a table to share meals.
Outside of ministry, Cody enjoys creative pursuits, smoking meat, reading theology (especially the Puritans), being outdoors in the Ozarks, and playing board games with his family.
If you visit FBC Camdenton on a Sunday morning, you will likely hear Pastor Cody open the Bible and walk through a passage with care. Worship begins at 10:30 AM in our building at 186 S. Business Rt. 5 in Camdenton. Community groups for adults meet at 9:00 AM. Kids are well cared for during the service.
